HOW TO PLAY

Master the art of timing and deception in three simple steps

The Setup

Card back

Each player receives 6 cards. Three cards go face-up on the table as starting piles. The rest form a draw pile.

The Bluff

Clock card – 6 o'clock

Play one card face-down (must be exactly one hour later) and one face-up. No matching card? You must bluff!

The Challenge

CALL IT!

Suspect a bluff? Challenge! Wrong call — you take the pile. Right call — they take it all. First to empty their hand wins!

Jokers can be played as any hour — face-down or face-up. They replace any clock card and are your ultimate bluffing tool.

WARNING: Jokers can't be stacked on other Jokers or Time Vortexes!

Each Joker left in hand = 5 penalty points

Play it face-down or face-up as a Joker. When revealed face-up, all players pass their hands to their neighbor. The Time Vortex is then removed from the game.

Playing on a Joker is illegal — you take the pile if revealed!

Each Time Vortex left in hand = 10 penalty points

Q: WHAT IF TWO PLAYERS CALL A BLUFF AT ONCE?

A: Priority goes to the next player clockwise from the active player.

Q: HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?

A: Anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. Usually about 30 minutes.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE DRAW PILE IS EMPTY?

A: No card is drawn and the game round ends immediately. Count penalty points to determine the winner!

Q: CAN I PLAY WITHOUT PARTNER CARDS?

A: Yes! Partner cards are optional and designed to help beginners get started. You can remove them for experienced players.
